Okay, Okay......
While you Brits are sleeping I'll post a few pics of the mods (More like upgrades actually) to Andy.
Nothing as earth shattering as Clive's bonnet but then I've only had Andy for two months.
Cheers,
Rich
Taillights and 3rd Brake Light
Flag Badges, Clear Sidelights
EBC Pads and Rotors
52mm TB and Pipercross Induction
Moto-Build Splitter, LHD Trophy Headlamps and Clear Indicators

Poly Bushings (D'ya think the old ones were done? :silly: )
That's it for now!

Well impressed.:broon:
Especially the battery!
Was there much of a charge?
Seriously, I actually think the squarer No.Plate looks better than the standard British shape. :yesnod:

I think I need a new mug as I think mine is on the way out. Steam keeps coming out of the top of it when in use.
I'm pretty sure it is Hot Mug Failure.
Apart from the steam coming out and the water level going down, when I looked in it was full of this creamy coffee coloured liquid.
Is this HMF?

 cjj that sounds like a serious case of HMF, however I do think it's repairable. You don't need a new one and please remember this thread is MVFs (Mug Virgin F'ers) Now leave the mug creeping to newbies.

Back on the subject of MGF modifications, I'm sure there were some picture of an MGF where the oil temp and clock dial had been replaced by a third party oil temp and volt meter? Have I just dreamt this :S
Since my clock only tells the correct time about four times a week I would like to get rid of it and change the dials. Your help in pointing me in the right direction is much appreciated.

i believe that we should keep the mgf/tf alive like the predessers not jump on the band wagon to break for spares. its a crying shame to see the last british built sports cars broken up to the highest bidder. forget your z3s mx5s etc these are the last great british (owned) sports cars to hit our rds. yes they had there problems but so have the rest ,but us brits have never seemed to grasp that if we dont support our industry then down the pan goes industery that revonlutionsed the world. and what ave we left nothing, no industery no jobs no trades no future for the next generation to expand on what our forefathers left us . sorry but i hope that mug is made here otherwise i dont want it.. lol

China? , YES, China, I hear most promotional mugs are made there these days So there you have it everyone rayb is not interested in the mug
Where as I on the other hand would treasure... OK I think you know my feelings on the mug by now
I am still searching for the third party dials (oil temp and volts) that I have seen in a photo on here which replaced the MG oil and clock dials on the centre console . If you know who did the mod or can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.
Paul
Didn't show up very well on the other photo's so here is another showing my shortened to within an inch of it's life gear lever, which after adjusting the gear linkage mechanism to rid the car of sloppy gear change gives the car an even more sporty feel.
