Wot, a "no mug mods mods" thread.

I reckon we need to have a few of these badges produced for the wonderful selection of special edition mods mods, no mods mods, mug awarded mods, mug-less mods and the plain simple mods we've seen produced by the admin, global mods, mods and users of this fine forum.
:woohoo: Each one is an individual winner and a credit to their owner

Posted 13 years 6 months ago #24281Some people say the MGF/TF doesn't have enough storage space in the passenger compartment.
So here is a way to greatly increase the storage capacity in a mod which is quick, practical and best of all FOC
conveniently placed storage compartment, with no useable space what so ever apart from storing a small key or two thimbles
Take out the insert, much better but there is a big sprung piece of metal in the middle of it. Take this out and top flops around. Steel shears to the rescue and cut of the bit protruding into the space.
Result is you have a useable space with a cover to hide those small valuables :silly:
Now have a place to put even the largest mobile phone
OK, I'm plucking at straws now :nonod: Can I just buy a T-Bar.com Mug and put myself out of the misery of mug-less ownership

Posted 13 years 6 months ago #24283But would you treasure it if you just bought it? If you win it you can put it in your trophy cabinet!:lol:PQD44 wrote: Less than two weeks to show us what you have.

Posted 13 years 6 months ago #24303I'm a bit OCD about only having the ignition key, alarm fob and an mg leather key fob on the key ring.talkingcars wrote:

I don't like to see or hear big bunches of keys rattling about!
On my Nissan, I even have velcro on the back of the alarm fob to stuck it to the steering column shroud! I know....SAD! :yesnod:

Posted 13 years 6 months ago #24305Welcome to the T-Bar
 Nice looking MGTF you have there, pity the steering wheel is on the wrong side  . Those really are stealth stripes and even knowing you had stripes I had to look twice
Why not put some photo's of both your cars in an album in the Photo section :yesnod:

I find it easier to keep all the keys as one, less likely for them to drop out of my pocket un-noticed.
