That sounds like 'car clocker's' gizmo.

Here's another thought, With the digital unit is it possible to change back and forth from miles to kilometers?
We use kilometers here but 30 miles away at the US border things change back to MPH.
My wife's PT Cruiser has the ability and it is a handy feature.

The are speedos available which have both scales MPH / km/h

Take a look on the German ebay : Part-No. 130523962421

Darn! :( It was worth a thought.
I just took a look at Rimmers site and was
amazed/horrified at the number of speedos listed.
Too bad they didn't have a facility to switch from one
value to another. It would have simplified things.
Schoppi, I don't think i'll worry about a dual scale unit
as I am pretty good at guesstimating KM from MPH.

You could fit some plasma dials, they have mph and kph.

The stock dials have both scales. It would just be nice to press a button and have the value change rather than have to read the different scale. (I know-Lazy Ba**ard)!
