Just an update.
I put the new pressure cap on this morning. Let it tick over for a good long time, Blatted it up and down the A610, let it tick over some more . No overheating , no loss of pressure/coolant.. I did hear the radiator fan cut in while ticking over . (that's a first). So all appears to be tickity boo. :woohoo:
