Hi, yes definately interested in one.I would have liked to do a direct module change and keep everything in one box but it looks more likely I will have to incorporate an add on as David suggests.
Has anyone got any views, good or bad, about increasing the coolant level by 10-20 mm to see if the signal from the sensor is less spontainious (if thats the word, its getting late and I am suffering from the effects of the sun, caught out unprepared at Derbyshire County Show today)
Regards Neil

In the middle of designing. :)

What would you guys prefer

1. Just a Buzzer
2. Buzzer and LED
3. Just an LED

Next position of led/buzzer

1. in the engine bay
2. somewhere in in the cockpit (added cost of cable to bring everything forward)
3. Just leave bare outputs so you can add you own leds/buzzer

Whilst i'm at it would a temputure read out from the expansion tank be any use?

I wired mine into the engine bay overheat light on the dash.. Nice and OEM looking and it works.

Definitely an LED with optional buzzer. (If possible to tie in to engine warning light then the OEM look is kept and cost kept down?)

I like the idea of a 'deluxe' version that can output to a dial - that would be cool! Could get rid of the crappy clock and fit a nice temp dial in there maybe? Only prob is finding a temp dial that looks OEM for the purists I think.
