MG 1100 was launched September 1961 IIRC, but the MG Midget was launched in June 1961. However, the Magnette Mk3 was launched in 1959. The ZA/ZB were not really badge-engineered.

According to MGOC the ZA/B were derived from the Wolseley 4/44 with a few cosmetic changes. This apparently upset the MG purists of the time (1952/3). So as you odentified them in your answer, I'll let you have it!

I should do more Googling before answering, as I thought the ZA/ZB were different to the Wolseley, but no wthat I think about it I am probably thinking the Riley was the one that was different.

A brace of MG6 GT's in the all new MG KK Momentum Racing Team - driven by Jason Plato and Andy Neate. Cars to be prepared by Triple Eight Race Engineering with debut at Brands Hatch on April 1st (I KID YOU NOT)> the opening rounds orfthe 2012 Dunlop MSA BTCC championship.

Two MG6 GT cars will run in the all-new MG KX Momentum Racing team piloted by double BTCC champion Jason Plato and BTCC rising star Andy Neate.

The cars will be prepared by Triple Eight Race Engineering, one of the most successful constructors in touring car racing. And completing the 'dream team' are principal sponsors Tesco Fuels with their Momentum 99 brand and KX energy drink completing an all-British line-up.

Very interesting question :bang: the reg no. DWS 97 was on a Sebring Sprite, but that is not a Sebring Sprite, it looks like a 1300! The blue one looks like a modified Triumph Spitfire and there i am lost :bang: :bang:
