This was a prototype MG TF being developed by MG Rover with a wider track for the next generation TF.
It was to have an increased wheel base, about 100mm and was to form the basis for the new TF and new TF coupe.

"The cut out's on the bonnet were to direct the hot air out from the repositioned radiators at the front of the car to imporve cooling. It was to have a new steering system and brakes system along with a whole raft of changes and it was aiming for the top of the tree with regards everything. It was also package protected for the KV6 engine. It was also going to use a 6 speed PG1 box called Hurricane. 17 and 18" wheel options and a rather fantastic interior with the introduction of "organ pedals" or floor mounted/hinged throttle and possible the brake/clutch too."

We've had a few hard ones recently and the odd cryptic one so here goes with an easier one.

Tell me about this car, the owner and what's special about it

It is an MG, that's your first clue :P

Good Luck :bust:

It was, and it was called Golden Slave 1.

I forgot to follow up on this photo, to explain that although it was indeed Kara's amalgam of Golden Wheels and Slave 1 (her original car). It was a bit of a photoshop because the original Hard top wasn't that colour. It was a suggested colour scheme.
