In my experience, if you find a good un' stick with them, even better if they have some mg experience!

Didn't pay too much attention to the tyres when I collected the car as you'd assume there wouldn't be much scope for flange up in tyre fitting. It wasn't until I was washing the wheels a couple of days later that I noticed that something didn't look quite right when looking at the backs compared to the fronts..... you guessed it. 205's on front and 185's on back.
My review to Blackcircles website obviously wasn't too flattering. To their credit, they couldn't have apologised enough through following emails and said harsh words would follow to Hi Q.
PS. I've had the tyres on for a few months now and will give a review shortly.

I've heard a hot TF even with a de-cat can pass an emissions test.
Not next year it wont (see my post about MoT changes) No CAT, even if it passes emissions, will be a fail :yesnod:
I would report the testing station to VOSA and they will investigate.

Presume they gave you a free re-test and it passed?
Like David i have always used a garage i know and have been using for Mots for the past 20 years, and again like David's guy they try to sort the borderline problem and not just say "" it failed " try again. I have heard many stories of "sloppy" jobs from Halfords and Kwik fit ~ fail on simple items then charge a fortune to fix & retest.
