She's our boss's nextdoor neighbour's cat! Apparently they're trying to rehome her as they got her recently but she is being bullied at the moment by the other cats & dogs they own so she spends all her time hiding behind the bath pannels! :frown:
Got to change her name though as she's currently called "pus sy foot" :skeptical: Need help with names ASAP!!!
OMG I'm so excited!!! We're picking her up tomorrow!!! :woo:

We used to have the litter tray that had a roof on it and he went in through a flap - it helped keep the smell down a bit.
Pus sy Foot is an unusual name - I think Decat is much better:yesnod:

Ooh do you mean something like this: http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.205-9291.aspx
Aww you should totally have called your cat Garfield! Or is that too predictable?
I can't call her decat it's not cuddly enough! Although have to admit it is pretty quirky like me!

We should have called him Garfield but we went for the even more predictable 'Teddy' :rolleyes2:

Sorry hun I missed these two great posts from you with all the excitement!
Have added your recommendations to the list! Have heard about Catnip - can't wait to see it in action! :hehe:
I like MOG very nice! But of course now you've mentioned Chewy I can't get it out of my head! Although she's black & white I think so may have to reconsider Chewy. :frown:

We got 2 young brother & sister cats from Cats Protection a couple of years back, sadly one of them is no longer with us but the other is. We changed their names as soon as we collected them as 'Lady' and 'Tramp' really weren't the kind of names I'd choose :rolleyes2: Ours were about 6 months old and learnt their new names pretty quickly. Lady & Tramp were bad, but why would anyone call their cat 'pussy foot' is beyond me :shake: I really like the name 'Chewy' though
Another thing they cottoned onto pretty quick was the sound of 'food time' - I made a point of tapping their bowls whenever I fed them, that way if ever I needed to find them (if they'd gone wandering outside and not come back for ages for eg), all I do was tap their bowls and they came running
Another thing to add to your list to buy is a sticky lint roller for when it's been laying on things and in places it shouldn't (which it will, regardless of how many beds you buy!).

Cricket is good but after a sleepless night (couldn't sleep - way too excited!) I've found the right name! :woohoo:
I've decided that because I absolutely love the show/books True Blood I'm going to call her Sookie! :cloud9:

Lady & Tramp? That's horrible! Lady fair enough but how could you call a beautiful little cat "Tramp" :shake: good on ya for renaming them.
Aww Jan I am soooo unbelievably excited! Just been out and got some goodies for her! I got her a GORGEOUS cat bed which she'll probably never use but it looks lovely! I got her this cute little food bowl and watering dish, some cat nip, some food (Felix wet food & sainsburys dry food), a pink litter tray & scoop (& the litter!), and some toys (they're little balls some are soft and some are hard and jingle!). Already have a lint roller that I bought for the soft top so sorted!
Gonna spend the rest of the day prepping the flat - got to move some of the swords into more appropriate places!
Oooh think I'll upload some cat & dog smilies as well after seeing the ones you posted!
Roll on 6pm!
