I've decided that because I absolutely love the show/books True Blood I'm going to call her Sookie! :cloud9:

Sookie is a fine name (2 syllables is perfect) it also suits a black and white cat, our Livvy is black & white and is the spit for the felix advert cat I wanted to call her mag or maggy after the mighty magpies (newcastle united play in black & white) but was over ruled :frown:

having a cat is a bit like having a baby it is life changing.

of course now you have rescued a cat you will forever be a hero

Aww well I must admit when my boss told me about how she hides all day because the other dogs & cats bully her I knew right then that she was the one! It's so nice to think you're giving an animal a fresh start and a chance to have a more comfortable, happy life. :cloud9:

I was going to get some of that cat milk you recommended but I thought I'd wait & hear what her current owner gives her. I did get her some treats though so she'll still be spoiled rotten until then! :lol:

BTW... that cat nip really does look like weed doesn't it?

OMG Sookie is ADORABLE!!!!!!!

We picked her up at 6pm, bless her she hated the car journey - meowed the entire journey! Got her home & she dived into the bath to hide! We coaxed her out, got her on the bed (put catnip on the bed!) and rolled around for a bit while we tickled her & she purred like crazy! But then I think it was all too much for her so bless her she's been hiding under our chest of drawers since 8pm! I've popped in on her a few times & given her a tickle & she's been purring but she still hasn't come out! :lol:

Hopefully she'll come out tomorrow as she's looking pretty sleepy at the mo.

She's such a heart breaker! So gorgeous! And so soft! She's like a long haired Felix! I managed to get a couple of pics whislt she was on the bed but will try & get some better ones soon!
