Other than the obvious visible parts.

There are a couple of lower brackets per headlight, Top mounting for the headlights are the same,  fitting the brackets requires a couple of holes to be drilled and then bolt through to hold in place , MY2000 MGF's (mk2) have an indent on the panels where the holes need to be,  last bit on the headlight is swapping the plugs over on the loom,  wire colors are the same, simple cut an solder job.  (I've not done that as i swapped out the entire loom for a 2004 version)

The MGF armature bar needs swapping out for a TF one, then the TF bumper is a straight bolt on once the headlights are done.

The later bumper as I've got fitted needs a small adaptation to the armature bar as the center mountings on the bumper are set slightly lower,  the TF mounting bracket has two holes at the bottom of the bracket , i just widened these and fitted M10 rivet nuts.

925 mile round trip to the North of Scotland. TF ran like a dream eating up the miles and the roads were deserted North of Dundee. Did get our first proper top down soaking on the A1 in Northumberland when the heavens unexpectedly opened, then a good 5 minutes to a safe stop.

Only a tiny thimble of the Glenlivet was taken....

Dualling with those Lancias at Goodwood again! To say it was wet would be an understatement and 7 15 minute sessions of full speed wipers killed my wiper linkage and wore out my rear near side brake pads.

That looks an excellent fun track day. Did you organise it through a club ?

It was the Lancia Motor Club track day which is an annual event. The Duke of Richmond's father was a founding member of the club, so they get a full weekend day to themselves, which is unusual. My other MG is a Lancia, but since it had just come back from a 6 month body rebuild, a track day didn't seem the ideal first outing....

That's a beautiful car.
I  had to be in Bridgnorth on Sunday for my grandsons cricket, we had a walk into the town during the break and stumbled across the Italian Moto Club's annual jamboree.
Were you there?

Nothing much on my TF this week but I have got a bit more done with the transplant of an MGF EPAS steering setup into my MGB project car.  In order to fit, the front part of the column needs to be shortened. So far everyone who has done this appears to have lost the use of the steering lock. Ive managed to restore the lock function by carving out a slot in a splined tube. This doesnt affect the strength of the inner shaft and the assembly is still free to compress in the event of an impact as per the original design.  I just now need to sort the position of the MGF / TF stalks and column shroud and then bolt it up for good and plug in the converter loom ive made which nowcincludes an intermittent wiper module thanks to the suggestion of one of our forum members.
