Rick Buhllar of MG Rover custom car parts had a batch commissioned - I caught the thread on Facebook and asked if he could do me a red 160 set.
They did take a couple of months to arrive, but he may be doing some more, in different colours and some that flash too.
Only took about a hour to fit and wire up.

I was going to get some but I wanted them in green and with lighting tricks but he can't do that so at some point I'll do my own.

Yet more chores done on Shadow today, fitted my new downpipe and flexi hose, old one came off ok and new one flew back on, also fitted my new cantrail seals to my soft top. Take a bit of seating into the rails and also have to be positioned perfectly so that the male and female ends interlock correctly....just need to slightly adjust the doors and windows to get a perfect line and seal now. Perhaps I should not have sealed the passenger door with my super sellotape until the windows were adjusted - you live n learn!
Still got to replace the cracked binnacle too...maybe next weekend for that one.

On the downside - noticed a small oil weep on the engine when changing the downpipe - its near the top and to the side, so suspect it could be the camshaft seals on the head, its not too bad for now, so maybe its a head off and refurb sometime in the future, maybe next winter.

What started out as a plan to change my 2 scabby front wings out for good second hand ones turned into a bigger job than expected!

After removing the wheel arch liners I decided it was time to take care of the few areas of corrosion and also to remove the worst condition front subframe mounts I have ever seen! Stainless subframe mounts are now on order.

Much better - the mounts on the TF I broke to donate the subframes to my F looked similar to those ones - luckily the actual subframes were solid.
