Ninety- five% finished fitting my MGFMania replacement roof section. Just need to glue the B posts, rivet on the seal carriers then refit the seals. Hopefully completed tomorrow and I'll post a photo. Pleased with the (95%) results. However, if you live near Knutsford getting Peter to do it for £100 is a bargain....although you do miss that sense of achievement.

OK, so connected my pscan unit up to Felix and I cant reset the SRS light - the error is below:

So I think somehow I need to find the wiring diagram for an NAC car and try to figure what's different!

Hi Forrester,

Sorry, been off-line for a while.

Re the Circuits des Remparts at Angouleme, there are several classes ranging from Edwardian racers, through Bugattis, prewar racers, to later 'GT's and including the 'chosen marque' - Minis this year. Amazing spectacle!

If I'm allowed a small ad, we offer a 'Special' in our Gite each year at www.charentemaritimegite.co.uk which covers the weekend at a substantial discount over our normal rates. Not only is this a bargain for anyone wanting to visit the 'Remparts' but it selfishly ensures we don't have a changeover on the Saturday when we want to be on the Club Rallye!

I only received official confirmation of yhe 2016 dates yesterday so haven't updated our website yet. Anyone wanting to get in early can email me at [email protected]!

What's that black canvas thing behind the seats for?

All work done on my car for now and after a recent mot all i had to do was drive :drive: .........so off i went for a cruise to market drayton where i had dinner.........a steady run then towards the county town of staffordshire-......stafford..............and on the road through stopped at a lovely quiet village eccleshall where there was some interesting cars..........these mgs wer parked in a line i believe the 2 white or ivory ones to be mga............a chinese tf le500 and a 1972 mgb

and then onto sieghford to watch gliders...some towed in the air by powered aircraft...........at one point 2 gliders were riding the thermals along with a buzzard......i suspect the pilots wanting a birdseye view of it....unfortunately my camera could not pick it up...

ride back home through hopton where there was a mg garage......closing down it had a soft top metro for sale along with this a 2005 tf at £2400.

and pictured last is my tf near sieghford aerodrome...............yes i know ive got the ruddy hard top on in good wheather again.

lovely day :P

Lovely day here too at 57.30 North and I met-up with the MGLeg4Leg LeJog drive in aid of Blesma as they passed northwards through Inverness. Nice bunch in an assortment of modern MGs and a Ford Mondeo driven by Mr Locking Vinyl himself (Darren - MG in the workshop).

They are carrying a really nice 'trophy' for the event seen here with a MGB owned by the Highland MGOC Sec.

Bought and fitted a new battery to the ZS so I can use it, parked the F on the drive so I can do the jobs needing doing (finish AC, pump suspension, fit new rad, refit trophy splitter to front bumper while doing rad and condensor, fit stainless mesh to same, possible add airscarf and heated seats so Mrs TC doesn't mind winter time roof down late night drives so much).

Home to black Alfa Romeo 159 3.2 V6 Q4 ,green MGF VVC and red MG Maestro T16.

MG - the friendly marque.
