It’ll certainly keep your hands soft. It’s a byproduct of the wool industry I believe & you don’t see many sheep rusting away. It’s promoted as a “green “ alternative to waxoil, however it depends on how much processing it has to go through before you slap it on your sills.
I would be a bit wary, the car has enough problems without giving it warble fly or scrapie.

That was a little tongue in cheek & not very helpful, my son has had some experience with this & has given positive reports. I’ve a gallon on waxoyl in the workshop so it could be a while before I need to restock, whether I’d choose lanolin or not would depend on whether I still retain rational thought.

A manufacturer promoting their own product, but on another MG (USA)forum that I visit the use of lanolin rust prevention is widespread. I had never heard of it until then.
