Do you currently have valid insurance on your everyday car ?
If so, does that policy state you are covered to drive cars owned by other people (assuming those cars are insured by their own owners) ?

Since its going to be a while until the car is restored to my satisfaction ,it maybe that the insurance is settled My insurers at the time are taking the other party to court as they havnt paid my insurance for the damage since it was their fault So in the meantime I`ll carry on with the restoration,after all I bought the car to give me something to do Len
