It's amazing what you have achieved in your garage. Paint preparation and spraying is not easy in confined spaces.
I have the same colour TF and was thinking about painting my wheels black and seeing yours they really look well against the silver.

Hello I dont know yet ,what to do .I cant take on another full resto .I`m 86 and having treatment for cancer and other things .However Id like to have something to do .Im helping someone to restore an Austin 7 as he doesnt know somethings I do and was helping someone else on a Rover P2 but as we finished it he died suddenly .So Im advertising it for someone .One of the main problems is that due to my age ,the insurance has gone up to over £400 ,that with the road tax makes it uneconomical to put the TF on the road ,or any other car I do. I would like a smaller resto to do I dont want to sit in front of the TV all the time i feel now I have the spraying right ,its a shame to stop .
I built this years ago from a Post Office box van I had intended to buy the kit from a gent at the NEC car show .I bought the very basic start kit ,
but the kit supplier died suddenly So I had to design and build 90% of it myself except for bonnet wings handbrake and part iron framework over engine area Wish I had it now ,it went to the south of France and the new owner was thrilled with it

86!! And you are spraying cars! That's seriously hard work on the shoulders and wrists as you flat and polish them.
I take my hat off to you.
Very well done Sir.

I am sure you love every minute of it, especially standing back and admiring your handiwork.
From what I read on here I am sure you will have no trouble selling it!
Genuinely in awe.

That kit car looks a very serious undertaking. That was an enormous achievement. I built a kit car once and enjoyed the challenge but mine was a far simpler build as there was the benefit of guidance from the designer and a pre made chasis and body panels.
What you did on yours is in a quite different league.

Chris, you could do with looking back over Len’s pictures of the end result of that build. I commented at the time that it was suitable for a maharajah. As a mock Bentley it was very convincing.
