Great stuff, you must be pleased with the outcome. Single minded tenacity pays of in the end.
Oh & the correct Bosch unit; when there is a known datum, other measurements can be taken with confidence. Happily you dropped on the fault.
Very pleasing.

Hopefully this link works: https://www.autodoc.co.uk/bosch/1148561
I bought it from Autodoc and the item number is 0 258 003 229 it was £61.94 in total.

Very happy, will be happier if it passes the MOT
But yes, the Bosch sensor was the solution. A bit of the old buy cheap, buy twice. I should have just gone for the Bosch unit at the higher price and saved myself many hours of fault finding. Nonetheless I've learnt a lot more about the K Series engine in the process.

Using the P-Scan log I've verified the o2 sensor appears to be working correctly. Interestingly the trend line value is 0.629 volts which is very close to the reference voltage from the ECU so I'm assuming the fuelling is responding correctly to hold it around that voltage.
The high voltage points are where I've increased the engine rpm to 3000 to see how it responds. But at this point the Fuel Correction Bank 1 is reducing from 90% to ~80% so again I'm assuming it's reducing the fuelling to maintain the correct lambda value.

Well done.
I don't understand how manufacturers can run a successful business making garbage that doesn't work, and it seems rife in the car parts world.
If all the pscan units came back to me for a refund my business would be finished.

MOT day today, Fingers crossed for at least an emissions pass!
The previous owner changed the lambda and I've tried two other sensors before landing on the Bosch sensor being the one that works. So only a 25% success rate on that sample! Frustrating but the PScan works perfectly thank you

There’s a lot of satisfaction when fighting for the cause & to triumph. Another f saved, demonstrating to those whose outlook on our cars is negative & that there’s an awful lot of life left in the old dog.
We’ll done.
