One of the last ( I hope ) jobs to do, is to drain the radiator fill with clean water and anti-freeze .I seem to remember there is a way to bleed the system once refilled.
I have already asked but is it possible to add a video ,onto  post . Len

Hello I`ve undone all of the bolts holding the hood in place and partially folded it to store .I clean it when the weather improves ,when I`ve finished this ,what is the best way to offer it back onto the car .Folded as though the hood is in the over the car ,or folded back Len

As I said I removed the old black oil after getting the engine warm and refilled with 5 ltr  of flushing oil  I then ran the engine for about 15 minutes ,giving the throttle the odd blip ,however after 3 to 4 minutes the engine ran better you could hardly hear the tappet .After the 15 minutes I drained the flushing oil and refilled with fresh good quality oil ,I al fitted a new oil filter which was a real problem ,it just wouldn`t undo so I used mu usual method of driving a screwdriver right through the old filter .I had to do this three times to get it to unscrew  Now the engine is a dream I wouldn`t have thought it would work so quickly ,but with so many members saying how to do it I had faith !!!  CAN SOMEONE TELL ME IF YOU VAN INCLUDE A VIDEO ON YOR POST .I`ve tried twice but only the photo appears Len

I`ve removed the plastic cover ,to get at the hood bolts .If it wasn`t for the Forum I wouldn`t have had a clue what to do after I`d remover the three screws and the deflector blocks When a member said the plastic cover was tight ,wow tighter than a ducks backside and that`s water tight !!! Are there just the two bolts as in the photo to lift the hood and frame off .If so that`s amazing ,I restored a Triumph Stag some tome ago and had to buy another hood for it .There were three bolts holding each side and when the bolts were finger tight it was a few hours job to get the hood in the correct position  Still talking about tightness I removed the old oil filter this morning  ,after flushing the engine with 5lt flushing oil and I have never in 25+ years of restoring cars had a filter so tight .It took me over an hour to remove it .Even with a chain clamp and two hands pushing the chain lever it was solid .After driving a long screw driver through the filter a couple of times and then a lot of force did it come off .Once the seal had broken it unscrewed as normal .

Ive removed the two blocks for the wind deflector .Now its a bit more free than it was ,but its really solid by the two clips the seat belt runs though

.Might it be those clips that need unscrewing
