I would love AP's but it doesn't fit in Square Spokes 16'' , it only fits with spacers but i don't like using spacers on my car, so i think i will buy a Performance brakedisk Grooved and drilled with greenstuff pads :)!

Should have this belt cover on the opposite side to the cam belt end.. At the top of the engine.

Hoping for 220-230 BHP at 8,100 rpm

Its a Hellier/Scholar 1.9 on Titan Throttle bodies..

Look for the belt cover on the far end.. At least then you'll know its a VVC.. So either 143 or 160.. Late 160s had oil coolers on the block.. Which yours doesn't have in the pic..

Or look up the engine number on the block

You're right Allan, the engine number will confirm the provenance of the engine, but this is certainly a MEMS3 engine - so making it that little more likely to be a TF160 lump than a an earlier 145bhp version, but it will be good to check.

280mm discs all round? So far I am very happy. Snetterton last week may have been a bit "damp", but it has to very long straights - one of which heads into a pair of very technical corners and hence hauling up from 110mph down to under 50 in short order. I've got standard road pads for now, and had absolutely no problem with brake fade with really consistent pedal pressures. Really really happy.

A sterner test will be a hot, dry track day, but the initial impressions have been extremely encouraging!

Oh and don't start me singing the praises of the Federal tyres - Allan, you're going to love them :D
