It really does look very nice and I've been pondering about having a go with Plastdip as a result of seeing your car. My concern is over how long it's going to last before it starts to come off.

Time will tell I guess.

Robin ;)

Firstly I think it only correct that I state that I am not a big fan of matt finish plastidip cars. I have seen one or two which I thought were ok when I was in France. These however had a mix of matt black, gloss black and lots of chrome bits and looked quite good.

I have however seen many, many, cars which have been painted (presumably by their owners) and have a bit of a patchy appearance. They often look better in photos than in real life. There was an MG TF painted in plastidip which looked ok in photos but in real life looked very poor, in my opinion.

The matt finish can end up looking like undercoat and really does the F / TF no favours.

Still you pays your money you makes your choice, it's your car. :nofight:

Trophy seats ? the leather outlay is identical to the ones i always viewed but the fabric pattern is different .
Also trophy 160 is normally shown on the horizontal piece of leather on top half of seat.
The door card cappings are normally matched to the colour of car ,Anthracite Trophy blue yellow etc never seen the alloy effect ones in a trophy ?

Any other plans to make it even more 'beastie' than it currently is?

Uprated anti roll bars?

Better drop links?

Individualised spheres?

Better brakes on the rear?

Manual bias valve?

Slick shifter?

Strut bracing?

B)

Diesel Destroyer.. 'The bringer of dreams'

I think 'wee beastie' is a better title, just to avoid confusion with any other 'Beast' :bust:
