Here's a link to Lambykin's (Scott's) Evocative photos of the Saturday [strike]Swim[/strike] Run over Hardknott and Wrynose passes.

They really bring home how awful the weather was and are a stark contrast to the beautiful Sunday that followed.

I have to say though that the sheep in the second photo must have been travelling at a fair speed. :bust:

A beautiful display of colours in the bottom picture. There probably is in the top one too, but who can tell.
Is it true that a dozen xpg's turned up on Saturday but no one could see them.

Great pictures everyone .... will have to try and get to one of these events next year.

It would be hard not to, lol, there were only three cars behind you and some were driving 'cautiously' over the rough terrain which would have kept them quite far back in the distance

It was fantastic that you guys came all the way up from the deep south and I was so relieved that the weather came up trumps after the deluge on Saturday :woohoo: . Thanks to Iain(Captain Slow) for the idea. Great to meet you again Dan! :yesnod:

And, considering you took the photos on your phone, excellent piccies. :broon:
