0900 Hrs outward, 1600 hours inward
I can't remember exactly but you need to be there either 60 or 90 mins ahead of sailing.

OK, so that’s everyone in for everything, except Dan and Iain, and Jamie and Tina, who are not staying over in Dover on the first night!!

Please could you PayPal me as a gift (through PayPal - not just give me a gift ) £200 per person to cover the costs of the accommodation and Ferry journeys except Jamie, Tina, Dan & Iain who will need to send £165 each. Also please could you send me your registration numbers and full names as I may need these for booking the ferry.

If I can get any discount, then anything that you pay over the cost of the travel will come off the final balance of the villas.

My email address has changed recently and therefore so has my PayPal account, if you do not have my new details, please pm me and I will send them to you.

Any problems with paying at the moment, please let me know as I cannot book until I have the funds ready to pay out.

Grazie!

OK, the ferries are booked as follows:

P&O Ferries
Route: DOVER to CALAIS
Departing: Fri 03 August 2012 at 0925
Passengers: 18
Method of Transport: 9x cars

Route: CALAIS to DOVER
Departing: Sun 12 August 2012 at 1715
Passengers: 18
Method of Transport: 9x cars

We need to be there at least 1 hour before sailing.

The next information I need from you is...................yours and your passenger’s age on the date of the 1st ferry journey.

Please would you let me have this information (I understand that you may want to pm me to save any embarrassment!!) If you haven’t let me have your full names before now, please would you let me have that also.

En route accommodation is also booked, and I have been reliably informed that it is 170 days to departure!

Oh - Full names (whoops):

The above is due to a family tradition of alternating the christian names of the first born son between the two, Several generations, including my Father, born in Holland before me and before them family came from a small village just across the border in Germany.

My christian name should be spelled Laurens but my parents decided that a less unusual spelling would be sensible considiering having a 'Germanic' surname was bad enough in those days.

Ok, so as well as:-

the hi-vis vests,
warning triangle,
fire extinguishers,
spare bulbs,
headlamp adapters,
first aid kit,
GB sticker
and spare spectacles/contact lenses(if you wear them),

you now need to carry a breathalyser kit in France! :-? :bang:

Maybe we should also carry handcuffs in case we fail our own breathalyser test and try to drive.

The limit in France is also lower in France 0.5g/litre. (0.8g/litre in Britain)

And, of course,in France you're not allowed to have any device that tells you where speed cameras are. :nonod:
