You would be better removing user avatars from the mobile site so that you could see their posts under the username properly. With avatars the username takes up the whole screen, then you have to scroll down to see the post.

To clarify something, There isn't a mobile site in the normal sense.
the blocks of the site reorganise themselves to best fit on the screen
You are all seeing the same layout, you can see this happening if you resize your browser window

Are there no mobile themes available for kunena?

For those struggling with mobile layout, within the Settings on your phone browser there should be an option to force Desktop View.
On Android Ice Cream Sandwich and above (i think) its on the main part of the menu.
One bug though which im assuming is to do with the timestamping of the site, my DoB shows correct as 1981 but apparently that makes me 43 for the 'Age' on my profile... Unless this site is so futuristic that we are now in 2025 lol

The thread starter is on the bug list, in the mean time the preview button will give the name.consettphil wrote: not really liking the new layout :nonod: . only just worked out how to use the old version and now completely different.

Do you mean Recent topics? Thats the only list I can think of that displays from all sections. The two menu links to that are still the same except one has shifted 15% to right and up a bit of its old position and one 20px to the left , the url is same as well

cjmillsnun wrote: I'm guessing it looks very similar on the S2 to how it does on the iPhone as the Android/Chrome Browser is WebKit based (same as Safari) in that everything is stacked, which makes it difficult to follow a thread.

There are but the mobile detection side of the things adds a bit of weight to each page, and then comes the decision of which mobile screen sizes to support etc.. I'll get moaned at for page loading speed.
also gives me something else to have to maintain. Tapatalk fills that postion well
its not just kunena either there are other components on thw site which run their own themes would need tying in
Whilst for the smaller screen the stacked view isn't working for all, its the way things are heading as mobiles become better processing scripts.
