OK, so I'm afrad that some of the problems for me still exist.
1) T-bar still crashes my IE9 - but only when i am logged in now. So it's better but still not fixed.
2) I am still getting a heart beat beep through my speakers when logged in, but not now when viewing as a guest.
3) Grey text is difficult to read and the font used doesnt help
4) Quick reply text uses a different text font which appears like a bad dot matrix making it difficult to read
5) Why when I am viewing some page and log in do I get dumped at the profile page. Not only is that page pointless, but it means i have to find the page I was previously looking at.
6) Front page is more of an advert than a forum. Even on a 17" widescreen full open the page is taken up with a massive T-bar logo and a picture. On smaller screens it just means you cant see aything and have to use lots of mouse movements.
7) As the colours are so muted, the Submit/Cancel/other boxes in vivid colour stand out and distract the eye from the key text.
LHS name, avatar, online, more details box is very big meaning lots of scrolling for posts.
lots more, but it's about now T-bar will crash again so I'll post this lot and try again after the expected reset

9) dont like the shoutbox on the RHS as it just takes up masses of space reducing the post space. If not there wouldnt need to spin down the page as much. Oh wait, yes I would because the LHS stuff is longer than my last 8 point post
10) Iphone - just dont. All of the above (except the crash and beep) only worse. Small screen and large icons. I can now burgle anywhere as the police will never get my finger prints as they have been worn off just doing a quick check of a single post on t-bar to confirm it's still an issue

Looking at some of the points I can answer:-DJM wrote: 1) T-bar still crashes my IE9 - but only when i am logged in now. So it's better but still not fixed.

I suspect
1/. I will leave to Simon.
2/. Is probably the popping noise that accompanies posts to the shoutbox. If you click the speaker top left in the shoutbox you can switch the sound off.
3/ and 4/. Is being addressed and the colour has been darkened twice, but a bug means it reverts to the lighter grey. I agree that colour is not good. Likewise the times new Roman text in reply box is being addressed.
5/. I think you are viewing the forum not logged in, then when you log in default is profile page. I think if you tick 'remember me' under the log on you should be logged in when you come to the forum. If you wish you can then navigate to recent post page as a first landing point. This is what I do to be honest.
6/ I will leave for Simon.
7/. I do agree that the buttons do stare out at you by their vivid nature.
8/. I will leave for Simon, too.
All valid points and I hope I have gone some way to address them.:broon:

Not sure why my original post is in the quote, but there you go.
This will be short as i have now had 5 crashes in the short time I have been on here and lost a couple of posts already so I'm off to my comfort zone.
2. Thanks at least I know what it is and can turn it off.
5. Not prepared to click remember me as all our machines are shared, and dont understand why I should need to anyway. Other forums dont have that problem.
TTFN
