Site Updates

Just to clarify, the site looks absolutely fine on IE8.
Thought i would still try on my work computer (running XP and IE8) and it looks pretty much the same as on Win7 running Chrome

Double click on iPad is a step back and how can I remove the 2 bars that now appear on the bottom of the screen.? Is there a preferences setting?
At my age I don't like change for change sake. Old scheme was fine but can't hold up technology.

Please remember us country folk my broadband speed is less than 500kb due to distance from exchange and all this stuff takes more loading Quotes. What's the point of that? I assume its slowing me down.

Havent been able to use on my S2 phone, Downloaded firefox, Managed to get logged on but still couldnt post. so gave up in the end

I can't use it on my S2 either, I'm getting the site in the 'background' but with a larger box telling me I need to upgrade my browser...when I click on upgrade current browser (Safari I think), it won't go to to link as it says it can't open any more windows
How do I upgrade??!! Help!!! :help:

It's worse when the banner appears over the button you're pressing (when clicking on view last post) as you can't click again!

I can see things are changing/improving almost on an hour by hour event,

But I don't like the changes, :rant: maybe me age, but things today seem to be changing just for the sake of change, it was working [with a few bloopers] and it worked.

My name never came up as being on line
my financial aid icon had disapeared also.

Try again, i've reduced the Safari version required

Sorry, but I pretty much can't use this site now
1) no access via work now this site won't run IE8 - work of locked down on XP and IE no other browsers allowed. Don't like Chrome or Firefox anyway so wouldn't use them
2) unusable on iPhone
3) still crashing my IE9

Add in the fact that I think this new layout is awful and the need to double click everything and the login screen dumping g me to a sort of user cp and not the page I was looking at etc Nd I really have no incentive to log in at all.

I know that doesn't really matter to this forum as I am not a regular, but jam sure I am not the only non-regular that has been lost as a potential regular by these changes. Great that it was realised that something had to change but a shame it's not for the better,

Im in and logged in, the box with "please use the padlock symbol to login" keeps popping up everytime i view something different

Its allowing me to post in the shoutbox from my phone but when i send it takes me back to the previous thread i have viewed/commented on in an odd format and at the top of the page says "Kunena Search" and a keyword search box

The padlock thing is noted already and will be changed soon as possible.

If you caould do a photo or screen shot of the second problem it would make things easier to solve. :broon:
