i had yokohama s-drives on my 15" wheels and they were good.
now i have toyos on the rear of my 17s and they are solid too.

regardless of tyres, ive never managed to lose my back end in 18 months so im not entirely sure tyres make a difference to me! haha

I think that the "Losing the Back End" thing is probably due more to drivers that are used to FWD than the choice of Tyres. I am happy with my T1Rs but will definately be shopping around for my next set as the Toyo's are twice the cost here than in the UK.

The only time I felt the back end a bit loose was when the tyres had only 3mm tread on them

Happy with ours after 18 months. Good wear and wet and dry handling.
Fuel economy? They must measure the differences in millilitres!

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

I've only had Pirelli P6000 and Toyo T1r on the F, the P6000 came with the car and were not good, not good at all, the T1r's converted the car into a car one can drive.

Not compared fuel consumption, yet, but have 2500 miles of receipts to chuck into http://www.fuelly.com/driver/talkingcars/mgf from our Euro 2013 so should give a good comparison with Euro 2012.

I am a bit of a fan of Yokohama's. Is there a suitable Yoky tyre for the TF?
