I have has some messages on the FB groups about supplying these, and in light of some comments and speaker sizes, I did some research and it appears that 6x4 speakers are not all the same, some manufacturers will make a specific vehicle version.
I have created two versions one for the standard speaker and one for the the alpine speakers i will be using which have a speaker size of 155 x 97 and an apperture of 145 x 88.

Both sizes will accept a magnet up to 80mm dia and a total depth of 50mm, this is bigger than any of the speakers i found in my few hours of research last night

If you would like me to make a set, please message me, i am open to making custom sizes if dimensions are supplied.

One day, everyone will have a 3D printer. For me, it is how to get it signed off by HR (the wife).
Full appreciation to you Daedalus.

Now, if you can help me with the sign off.........

I like that design, nice!

I've seen the value of having access to a 3d printer, a friend has printed a new rudder block for my kayak and a silencer insert for my travel CPAP machine.

Chap I know is restoring a VW Camper van.  It has required all manner of brackets and bits for the interior.  First he prints them in plastic, tries them out, then makes the final piece in metal.  Very neat.

Poor bloody bastard!
I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy!.........a whole lot of work to only end up with something ridiculously expensive, horrid, noisy (not in a good way), as ugly as a busted arse, slow, uncomfortable, with poor use on internal space and diabolical handling!
He must be a masochist!

My auto electrician mate, specialises in Dak Daks (Air cooled VWs, named after the awful sound they make), not because he likes them, on the contrary, like me he despises them, but for him it's money for jam!

Here in OZ there is a lottery for returned veterans, the prize is a classic car, usually a Yank or Aussie muscle car, fair enough that's what the bogans ( what we call rednecks or chavs) want, so that's what would sell the most tickets, there has been the occasional Porsche, Ferrari or some such, but they give away a horrible old Kombi es a regular prize, I don't buy a ticket as I'm terrified I'd win the awful bastard of a thing!

Wonderful! I’m not buying a lottery ticket because I’m frightened of winning.
I’m with you on that, if the prize was a muscle car or a VW camper, actually any VW with an air cooled engine.
A Communist Engine, Masquerading as National Socialism; noisy, thirsty & inefficient, amongst other horrific attributes.
If you gave a VW engine to Allen Millyard, he could make four good lawnmower engines out of it in next to no time.
If you don’t know about Allen, look him up.

After MUCH work he has managed to get it rolling after fitting a bespoke, rather pretty, interior. He was rather shocked when an easy round trip returned not quite 20 mpg!
