The three Musketeers were 6 cylinder cars named Athos, Porthos and Aramis, whereas the Cream Crackers were 4 cylinder engines.
I had to go and check that out, though!

Although this is a forum for soft-tops, MG have always had a saloon or two in their range, with the exception of the 1970s. However, an MG badged saloon was shown at a motor show in Barcelona in 1973 and is pictured in David Knowles' book.
Can anyone name the car on which it was based?

Yes, although technically the Austin Victoria as it was sold as, was based on the Austin Apache, itself a Michelotti restyle of the ADO16. www.austinapche.co.uk

Welcome to the forum Martin :woohoo: I can see questions about MGs and links becoming more diverse, now that we have a "expert" on board.

As Luckymarine is still thinking about his question  I hope it's not that hard  Here is one to keep you going
These should be wheely easy as they are all about the alloys fitted to F/TF's
1) Which car had these wheels as standard and what year did they first appear?
2) Name the models / versions and years that this wheel was fitted to as standard?
3) Which versions and years were fitted as standard with the 15" 8 spoke 'Minilite'.
4) Which F/TF version was the first to come with 16" wheels?
5) Give the name of the alloy wheels which have different widths for front and rear (Actual wheels are different sizes not just the tyres) and the vehicle it first appeared on?
