After Luckymarine's first win on the MG Quiz he said he would set a question on Sunday evening.
So just to give you something to work on how about answering these;
A.) Name the first MG produced at Longbridge?
B.) In which year did MG first win the Italian Mille Miglia road race?
Which, coincidently, made them the first non-Italian team to win the event and....
C.) You have seen the MG Logo a thousand times or more, but who is credited with coming up with the MG Octagon? Full Name please and a date if possible?

Shame on you Bryan.
The only one you got correct was the last and hardest question on the origin of the MG logo.
Obviously your brain is not geared up for the straight forward things in life

B.) and C.) correct, but according to my sources they all say the Ferina Mark III Magnette was manufactured at Cowley
MG Magnette Mk III specification
Produced: Cowley, 1959-61. 16,676 cars built.
Some development for it was apparently carried out at Longbridge but it was not produced there.

:woohoo: Well done John.
Over 3 million 1100/1300 variants were produced between 1962 and 1973 with the MG versions proving to be amongst the most popular. The first Longbridge built MG was indeed the MG 1100/1300 family starting in 1962.
Luckymarine is due to set a question this evening after his win last night, but if you have a quick one John please feel free to post.

The kind of people that buy MGs?
Factory supported motorsport (hill climbs, trialling and such like) teams with the Cream Crackers having the distinctive brown and cream paint work.
My first post, great forum, by the way.
