And what 10 could be missing post war? (a single car)

Next year the post war number will be 2425 and soon after that 2430.

Wht are the next couple of MG models due in from China?
The numbers post war are: 2422 then 2425 then 2430. If the new MGs came in the opposite order it would be 2427 and 2430.
Surely it adds up now??

adding all the post war model numbers come to 2422. I can't make the pre war model numbers match to 312 though. I assume the missing is the austin 10? Am I just rambling here?

Not the Austin 10. Something that is derived from a normal MG, but should be a new model... (only the shape is similar)
