Before & After your MGF/TF?
To get the ball rolling here was my previous vehicle
ever so slightly different view point :whistle:
The gorgeous and now very affordable (as long as you don't do high miles) Jaguar XK8 convertible.
Still soft top, British heritage, beautiful lines, cheap to buy and insure as a second car or on specialist insurance policy. Got a quote sub £200.
This what next car could be one of many possibles but be decisive and choose one.

And there was no way I can put three cars into a two car garage (there's a 70 Spitfire undergoing restoration, which is hidden at the back of the garage).

In the future if I had the money and could find a minter would be an E30M3. Now that's a proper car. End of !
Having said that I am very happy with my light weight 2 seater ragtop.

If I had to get another non MG it would be an Alfa Spider.
However, I do think the DB9 convertable looks like the big, muscle bound, expensive version of the TF, even down to the lights. So....who knows.

After that came a nice white Triumph Spitfire which I had when I met my wife. We sold that soon after we married and moved to the North of Scotland, but I've always wanted another sports car - preferably 2-seater and open top. So I was happy to buy the MGF this year. I've always wanted another Lotus, I guess I have always been a fan since the white Esprit in James Bond in the 70's when I was a kid, but now I have the MGF I'm not sure I want to swap it! I like the look and its nippy enough. Plus no less reliable than the cars mentioned above! Aim is to keep it long term and improve it as time and money allow...
