I did look at the DVLA website and see if the old Lotus was registered, but it came back empty - so I assume the poor thing has died...

After doesnt apply either, i may add that Scottish VVC to the fleet if no one on here has aquired it yet, I'm hoping to avoid that as I dont want to sell any of our present cars.

Here is the other pic i wanted, this goes back 2 generations of everyday drivers. The BX was around for about 10 years, I liked it so much I kept it as shopping trolley after I aquired the ex Fiat fleet Tempra TD. That was an amzing car it achieved 55MPG Scotland to home once, and after I put a set of KYB sports shocks on it it handled like a sports car. I gave it to my daughter but in fact my son in law used it for years for his job and the still got something for it when they sold it on.
(those KYBs were finished in neon orange )

and after........ this was the first car i've 'played about with' and all started because it broke a rear spring and there was a full set of 30mm lowering springs and bilstien shockers on ebay cheaper then the price of a pair of rear springs, it may just have been a crappy 2l diesel but boy did she go round corners and so the darkside began......
if Dora ever has to go........ mmmmmm...... probably a S2000 if i could afford the insurance or a large comfy estate type of car

The MGB in the background is ours, we saw this blown J2 again at the top of the Nailsworth ladder and it wagged its tail on the wet road as it took off, not bad for 850cc.
And for anything that wouldnt fit in the TF MGB or J2 one of these, sutably modified of course, 1380cc gas flowed head 5 speed Ford type 9 gearbox ....
I notice the MG6 doesnt feture in anyones dreams
