I can see the sense in it now.

A nice looking car indeed.

First mod is some foglights :yesnod:

When Kara 1st asked me to find her a ZR/ZS,certain criteria had to be adhered too....Anything really, as long as its BLUE.

Your right about the foglights as well.

Kara you have yourself a superb alternative MG there, I agree the mk2 is much more up to date then the mk1. However the mk1's were better built and not subjected to 'project drive'. There's a few things you can do, if not done already, to improve and ensure a long life. I'm sure you are starting to find these things on the 'other' MG forum ;)

I have had my 180 for nearly 5 years now. It still brings a smile to my face, but not when it's sorn'd!

That's a REALLY kind offer of you but there's no need now. Steve & I have discussed things further and we are doing a direct swap - Slave & GW's for the ZS! Fantastic really as it means that I don't have to outlay money I don't have and it's going to a good friend. :yesnod:

I should be picking him up next week (it's definitely a 'he' I've decided. But here are a couple of teaser pics Steve gave me...

Introducing "Stevie":

:woo2: :woo2: :woo2:

Apparently he is "ignition blue" which is a very nice colour imho! :yesnod:

That has worked out very well - no hassle of trying to sell 2 cars in the middle of your house move:thumbsup:

I love that ZS - perfect example being the 1.8 rather than the V6 so not to expensive to run, 180 kit, hatchback (probably looks better than the saloon) Quite fancy one myself:yesnod:

I suspect a ZS sub-forum may be added very soon:)

Adam-MGTF;8823 wrote: looks fantastic... i really like the Mk2 ZS's we have a Pearl BRG one that comes to our meets :)... there nicer than the Mk1 ZS's on the inside as well in my opinion

in fact if i had the the choice of a Mk2 ZS120 or a MK1 ZS 180 (the KV6) i cant say which i'd choose!

steve has really done you a service there, naturally he's not out of pocket and you have a great car (much newer than GS1 as well) so you've both won! I'd be interested to hear from steve as to what he's going to do with the Two F's :)

and the thread is the one about quicksilver and hints and why im so happy a tiny bit :p

Must admit the fact it was a MK2 with the 180 bodykit was what sold it for me. It has the appearance of a faster car without drinking petrol.

Quicksilver is a star mate - you must be dead chuffed. :yesnod:

Haven't got a clue. The remainder of GW will get broken up.Slave will probably end up on ebay...

Just to add in case that I'm perfectly happy for her to be sold on or broken. I know I've not really got a say in the matter but you have my full support whatever you decide to do. :)

Lol I don't even have a brother... can't believe everyone fell for it

I suppose I'm going to have to endure a lot of this from you aren't I? :sad2:

Thank you hun. I like that..."alternative MG" it's like alternative rock! :piratebang: Think I'll have to stick that in my sig.

I'm sure I'll find out lots more info on themgzs.co.uk. I've popped in & said hello to everyone.

Well now that you mention it I've been thinking recently of having a sub-forum to discuss other MG models. Simply because many of us have secondary MGs/Rovers.

Glad you like Stevie, now go out & buy a ZS so we can be partners in crime!
