Posted 6 years 9 months ago #183822Try googling 'wet TF carpets' and prepare for many results! Good luck.
It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

Posted 6 years 9 months ago #183836Managed to find a replacement plate and seal on Rimmer bros for £1.74, as they where so cheap, i ordered 2 to have one as a spare just in case they become unobtainable in the future. i will use a smear of sealant on it and an extra bead around the outside edge when i fit the new one as added protection.
Carpets are going to take days to dry out so im planning on rubbing down where there is surface rust (all just surface thank god) treating with krust as i have a big pot of it and then im giving the whole floor and rear bulkhead a few coats of good ol hammerite as a protective layer. Can also give my seats a proper good clean as they are out of the car. fun!
