Do you mean the PRT?
They are more efficient than the old style.

Today ordered prt thermostat which can be fitted at the front of the car across rad hoses
Cleaned and painted water pipes pipes .that go under in manifold .cleaning off block/head surfaces. Tapped out ex stud holes .nice new studs to go in .
Enjoying not how think "how do you do this" But advice cam spring pins very loose so cam sprocket fit not radially accurate .Will make better pins 6mm and good fit .

Took off the high level brake light to sort a flashing LED. Turned out to be a failed soldered/ corroded joint on the end LED causing the end three LEDs to flicker. Having read Roger Parker’s excellent book I was aware of the risk of prying it out from the front, so I pushed the cable grommet in and used a piece of flat steel ( screw driver would do) to lever the left hand fixing out from the back. I then cut up a 23mm wide piece of hardboard and slid it in between the light and the boot lid and gently pushed the light fitting, rocking it on the hardboard.
