Anything else will now be a compromise.
When fitting try not to bugger it up by fitting an incorrect bolt again!

Ordered a new arm & bolt from Rimmer.
One more week...
I'll send the broken (uprated) arm back to MGMANIAltd.

Took a few pics of the damaged MG Mania arm with damaged bolt and the new Rimmer arm with new bolt. The Rimmer arm came completely with pin and spring clip.
Tried the new bolt and arm together, seems to be tight and sticks after some turns.

Had to file and sand the arm, cleaned all (especially the thread) with break disc cleaner, now it fits.

If I were you I would go back to the arm supplier and ask them what is going on, and to send a fork fitted with the correct bolt!

No verbals here, there is something amiss that needs investigating thoroughly. There is no sense in putting that shaft back into place in this condition.
Christof, it appears that the bolt is not screwing fully home. The washer under the bolt head should fit flat to the spot face on the casting, which it is clearly not doing.
Is it because the bolt is not fully tightened and it is just finger tight?
The end of the bolt shaft should probably screw through the shaft and into the rear hole of the casting, which would then fully lock the casting onto the shaft.
Do you have a photo of the rear of the assembly?
If not, and you cannot get the bolt all of the way through, then maybe the casting holes are miss-aligned.
I notice that the casting sports the correct casting number though.
Apologies if my previous post appeared rude, no malice intended here, we are all only trying to help

Your previous post wasn't rude or misconstrued as , I hope mine wasn't. Christof ( who i believe lives in Germany ) has been struggling with this for a while now and all I was saying was it's quite easy for most us in the UK to sort issues regarding poor quality parts if indeed that is the case here . I just feel for the guy.
