Door water shedder
In the process of changing the door handle and have discovered that the "water shedder" was trashed when the PO renewed the door handle to silver instead of body-colour.
Been on Rimmers website and see the RHS item is NLA.
The LHS item is and presumably the "glue" is on one side of the shedder, or am I missing a point in that both LHS and RHS are identical and deploy double sided tape that I have to obtain.
Any suggestions please?

Make your own out of medium weight polythene & use good quality gaffa tape to fix it to the panel. For the cost of the genuine article you could make half a dozen & still have material over.
Use what ever is left of the original as a template & you can get a reasonable tension just by stretching it & a little heat will finish it off.

Same as Airportable but I used a hot glue gun, worked very well.

Thank you for the suggestions. Suitable stuff ordered from Screwfix.
Blinkin Eck - note to self ~ don’t think about changing another door handle or lock without having a massive dose of tranquilliser. What a job.

In the process of doing that I also opted to renew the electrical door lock. Thought I was doing well until I had the new electrical solenoid fitted and the new handle but had not connected either electrics or the rod that links door handle to latch.
