While on holiday overseas this year I found a copy of the book MGF by Ian Adcock in a second hand shop.
I think it makes a good historical read.
Anyway, I note a couple of cheap copies are available through e.bay for anyone interested.

Thanks for that nugget, I’ve ordered one for £3.15, I can’t be done at that.

Mine isn’t likely to be a keeper, if not I’ll let you know.
It’s remarkable how one mention creates a rush of purchases, mine at £3.15 including post, now that was a bit of a bargain & now at £20, that’s a bit of an uplift.
Let’s say £15, there, I’ve just saved you £5.00.

Very much reccommended if you dont have it as yet: Roger Parker's Everyday Modifications For Your MGF and TF

Despite the title there is a vast amount of general useful information in there

Roger Parker did another earlier book: The MGF and TF Restoration Manual ISBN 978-1-84797-400-6
BTW Everyday Modifications for Your MGF and TF  has the ISBN 978-1-7850-429-2
The ISBNs might help your search
