Savary Tool
Has anyone on here ever used one of these?
I just read a blog, which was obviously promotional but still they look like they could be useful.

There are several of these sorts of tools available on Amazon, ebay etc.
Indeed I have some in different square dive sizes, haven't had them long and haven't had to use them yet, and now I've had the stroke I'm probably not likely to.
It's the sort of thing that you're probably not likely to need until you do and it and then saves the day, of course if you don't have it, you can't try it.
It won't be the answer to every awkwardly placed bolt, and probably has limitations to the amount of torque you can put through it, but to me in what was a professional sense, it probably would've paid for itself the first time, I had successfully used it.
But for weekend warriors, you could probably spend your money more effectively, on something you may not already have that you'd get a lot more use out of, like a 1/4" drive socket set or a "go through" socket set
This is the "go through" socket set I have:
An example of how useful "go through" sockets are:
And the fact that they have a lower profile can be useful when you have a lack of clearance.

I use this one, in the old days known as a transfer drive.
Very useful for those cannot reach for love nor money nuts and bolts.

Not for heavy work but very useful.
Great for zizing up Nts & Bts in places where an electric buzzy gun won’t fit & can be used with a torque wrench adapter in a space where a standard Tqe wrench also won’t fit. Not a panacea for all ill’s but worth every penny on some jobs.
