I did a dvla search on the beast....i believe it was in marbella,,,,,,,, but still registerd in uk.............taxed until june 1st 2016....mot expired on 15 june 2015
watching one of the videos on the car revealed it did about 2 miles per gallon....and the beast caught fire at some point destroying the red body and later being replaced with the biege one.......

Good bit of detective work there  Even though looking like a mix of other cars it has a strange appeal. It reminds of the Johny Cash song 'one piece at a time' where he steals a car in his lunch box.

Need a big lunch box to hide a merlin engine in. ;) :omg:

Going back to the early 1970s when i were a younger lad i saw a car that was made to look like a orange......wow i thought when i grow up i will have one of them

but as you get older you have more sensible cars instead like my tf......
The next set of cars are more understandable why they were created.....they are for advertising and are so wacky they grab peoples attention.......like the first image of the orange car.....ive never forgotten it.......that is a very powerful advertising tool.
.These cars are all about advertising food and drink.
The vw chickhen car actually made me feel hungry....weird

imagine you start a new job and your given one of these cars to drive around different locations.....not a big deal.....but if your boss said you can take it home ........would you?or would you laugh on the spot and refuse point blank.....what would the nieghbours say?......and would you really want to wake up in the morning looking out of the window ......people walking past pointing because you have a ruddy big hot dog parked on your drive.

some people may of accepted the bosses offer of driving home in a four wheel advert....its your duty to keep it clean he says........its got to be priceless going down to the local car handwash and your in something like this vw below
telling the guy with the jetwash to give the lobster a wash and wax

pop down to halfords and ask if they have a set of wiper blades for a cream egg?

inredible when you think about it.......travelling back from a timber yard you would probably get a pull from the cops for having a bit of overhang........youve seen those people leaving b&q in fiat chinky chenkos with fence panels or alloy ladders tied on......yet it acceptable to have jumbo sausages sticking out of the front and rear

you book your car in for its first mot.......ok your car is based on a normal road going car....over the phone you tell the garage make and model and reg number..........holy moses they will say when you pull up in this carrot car

and last but not least you are hitch hiking on a remote road yor legs are tired and it pouring with rain.....whats this? mr planter has stopped to give you a lift in his peanut!

Do you accept the lift......no of coarse you dont.......the pac man car is coming up the road

lightburn made another model but with the morris mini only being about £67 more expensive the zeta models were doomed

and to use reverse the car had to be stopped and engine turned off before engaging reverse

Hello.
Looking at the Zeta above reminds me of the Meadows Frisky car that was built in Wolverhampton between 1958 and 1961.
I spotted this one at a car show a couple of years ago. I was talking to the owner and he said it was like riding on a coal shovel!!! :omg:

They were a three wheeler with a Villiers 9E engine.
They also produced a Sports model.

I do not think they were a big threat to the MG stable. :drive: The company went on to design and build the Frisky Sprint.
It was said to be capable of 90mph produced from a 492cc Excelsior engine. I would never dared go that fast on this 'tea tray' :hgf: Sitting in it could have been risky.

Interestingly the Sprint designer Gordon Bedson went to Australia and worked on the Zeta Sports

Tony
