I can also recall from the Eagle comic a feature they did called 'cutaways'. They were the bees knees at showing how things worked.
In the same vain here is a Meadows Frisky as shown on a previous thread.
Seen one for sale on Mississippi or something.

Plus there were a few estate versions too that were made:

Posted 8 years 8 months ago #166119The princess was designed by harris mann ....he is also the guy behind the first escort and capri.....
heres a photo of harris mann
harris must have liked wedged shaped cars,he also designed the tr7
harris also designed the allegro..but not has we know it...he designed the allegro with more of a wedge...but the shape was corrupted and was formed in the shape we know it today...below are manns original concept pictures of the allegro, princess and one of the metro....which he also created
and here is mann with a wolesley wedge in 2013 at the nec.....mann was disapointed with the finished result of the allegro not being as to is true design....he never got what he wanted with the princess as well, because mann had designed it to be a 5 door......the princess design project was named the diablo project and then mann went on to design the maestro
after these mann went freelance and designed the z series cars for mg rover which we on this forum are very familiar with.
harris mann must have ate a lot of cheese ,he had wedges on the brain....and some of the earlier cars developed holes in them just like this wedge of cheese
heres harris talking about signed pictures of his tr7 creation
here is a couple of princess cars that have been messed around with :nonod:
3 faces....wolesley,austin,morris
:pop: is there any more pictures of the princess soft top? :woowoo:
