And straight away, the car feels better...
Told you so!!!!!!!!! ~ the Pirellis are rubbish on an F  The new rubber and the suspension pump up will have brought the car back to where it should be. Tyre pressures are also very important and i would suggest you check them often during the first few weeks. Although David does not agree that new tyres need to be "run in", the first couple of hundred miles of normal driving will scrub them in and remove moulding teats and the release agents and will reach maximum performance. :woohoo: :woohoo:

Also anyone know a good place to buy the toyos?
Have a look at www.blackcircles.com they are usually good on price, you can buy on line and get a local approved fitter to fit them or you can buy direct and get your own fitter to put them on.
Dont go to Kwik Fit, but if you have a local tyre fitter ask them to quote you for supplying and fitting the ones you want. have you decided on the size yet??

Additionally, they always give me National Tyres Gloucester as the fitter, and I get a great service from them.
I do end up buying expensive tyres for my other car, Alfa 159 2.4 Jtdm.. and tyre-shopper have always managed to get me the best deals ..

Posted 13 years 8 months ago #22156Apparently the T1-R's are being discontinued, at least here in Canada,
and the dealer said he couldn't guarantee replacement tyres would be available
if I had road damage.. Not sure if this holds true for you guys in the UK as well.

Posted 13 years 8 months ago #22177Fortunately I got my set of T1-Rs so I should be good for a couple of years, barring any
unforeseen road damage.
Cheers,
Rich

Like my personal favourites the Nexen 3000s and Nexen 6000s on 16". I had 3000s on the front 6000s on the rear with no issues.(6000s all round now)
