It’s just that I can’t remember whether it’s Alzheimer’s or Amnesia

I'll have one last go
In New Zealand, the MG badge appeared on the late 1980s Montego estate, called the MG 2.0 Si Wagon
Built at Standard Triumph/ Leyland Commercial plant at Nelson as by that time (late 1980's) Newmarket, Panmure and Petone had been closed.
I have no faith in this as I can find no reference to it (Montego) being built in New Zealand but I'm hungrey and tired and have so many "tabs" open I'm goggle eyed. Night Night

Since MartinW has disappeared for the night, here is one just to have a go at in the meantime.
Will post another photo in a little while if no one gets it from this one. OK here goes;
Bit of explanation required for the answer sorry
Who is the designer?
What is the name of the car?
Where did he get his inspiration for this car?
Why would each production car be unique?

Sorry, I thought everyone else had gone. I was busy reading up on New Zealand on AROnline, but nothing about MG Montegos.
Further to the clue I gave earlier about the Di Tella being the right era think a little smaller than the badge engineered Farina Magnette to another Farina styled MG that was part of the badge-engineering. That will give you a clue to the MG that was made with a high degree of local content in two separate plants elsewhere in the world. Do I need to give a bigger clue?
So far:
1) MGB made at Zetland, Sydney, Australia
2)
3)
