Just while we are awaiting the next challenge a quick word of explanation regarding my earlier post.PQD44 wrote: if it isn't one of those, then the photo is wrong - wrong the photo is correct, photo's don't lie, supposedly. It could be that it's a good omen, .............but it isn't I just checked my records, looks can be deceptive. The devil is in the details
The Vintage Racing SE MGTF was a limited run of 30 LHD cars made for the French market ( MGF/TF QI Facts Thread will soon have some additional notes including some Vintage Racing ones).
A member of the T-Bar, meetwithdamien had his car modified to look like the Vintage Racing SE. In place of the Vintage Racing logo by the the side air vents Damien's has the words A Good Omen.
The devil is in the details refers to the registration number which includes 666 and to the fact that the picture posted by Psymon could have been Damien's car except that you can see the blue stripes are just slightly in a different position to that of the Vintage Racing.
In my opinion, this (Damien's) is one of the best looking MGF/TF cars in the country and with the TT Mk4 one of the best sounding cars
You can find Damien's album here

:
Very well done, spot on ~ there are only 10 of the 30 that were made that can still be located in France & Belgium , one of which (No, 23) is without its blue stripes. The blue stripes were painted on not an applied pvc.

I have done some research on the Vintage Racing, the number known is 24 out of 30, see this new thread
The origin of the white and blue stripes dates back to Citroen racing colours
Not the first MG to be painted this colour scheme, here is an MGA
Finally, a photo of a couple of distant relatives
OK so on to the new challenge......
N807 SVC in Amaranth.............. I'll stay out of this one unless pressed
