An Abingdon LE would have the chrome pack and hence chrome door handles, this one doesn't :dry:

That's the mystery. An R reg MGF.
- black Headlight surrounds (later known as Trophy style)
- White indicators, later changed to smoked style
Both highly inofficial before the official stuff came to market. White indicators had been the most wanted parts from 1998 to 2000
Seen it myself and talked to the owner at .... in 1999.

1999, sun is shining good weather, very green trees but the grass is drying out, possibly race track in background.......

Was June 1999. (4. - 6.6.1999)
The MK2 proto was parked at another location near the paddocks and that was BRG.
This one was owned by someone who worked for any subcontractor. I forgot the name. However, he had used some of the pre-series parts and put to his car. I recall it was parked at a small junction near the bridge at the old circuit. Every visitor coming from the model carpark passed this place when walking to the trader area.
