This is getting rather like "Wincey" Willis and "Treasure Hunt" ?? I'm trying to think of a link of the former, with G-Spey and G-BHXU, with MG - but then I am daft :-?

This was along the right lines, but wrong person. Note: Quincey...
Now you just need to find the link! It was quite an important person.

Thats correct! His drawings were very close to the finally delivered MGF. Has subsequently maintained his reputation as an important car designer around the World. All yours!

I know, being a country "bumpkin" I am dense but where is the "Think Catchphrase" - original clue ? I'll go off (minding me p's and q's (in case knob turns into a balls - see earlier post) and have another cider. :coat:

Catchphrase - as per the TV gameshow with Roy Walker. Linking the pictures eg: Quince + E = Quincey (Say what you see as Roy would say...)

These questions are about the iconic MGB

1 The MGB was launched in which year and which other MG was launched in the same year?

2 Look at these photo's. What is the subtle difference and in which model year did it take place (it is not one is a GT)

3 In the second half of 1974 what happened to the bumpers and ride height of the MGB?

4 What colour was the MGC GT that belonged to The Prince Of Wales?

5 In which year were the first V8's used in an MGB? Be careful with this one ;)
