Ok, hopefully this one hasn't been covered before.

Who is pictured?
What is his television connection to MG? (Series name)
When was it aired and on what channel?
Model/year/colour of MG concerned?

Mark Evans "An MGB is Born" on the Discovery Realtime Channel first aired in 2005.
Rebuilt a 1973 MGB and painted it James Bond Silver with a red leather interior.

Funny how there are often more than one correct answer...

"Dream Machine" was another programme presented by Mark Evans in 2003 on Channel 5. In the series they restored a car and then gave it away at the end of the show.

One of the cars they restored and gave away was .......................a 1964 MGB Roadster

The cars featured included;

Porsche Speedster

Mark Evans and a team of mechanics strip down a VW Beetle and build a kit-car version of the classic Fifties Porsche 356 Speedster over its floor pan, adding features including a rear-mounted air-cooled engine and a luxury leather interior

Custom Truck

Transformed an ordinary white van into a state-of-the-art supertruck. While they're doing all the hard work, Amanda Stretton investigated the customisation scene

MGB

Mark Evans and the mechanics restore a 1964 MGB Roadster : the quintessential two-seater British sports car : to its former glory, while Amanda Stretton takes a cruise in one and learns about the history of the MG

VW Beetle

Mechanics restored a 1971 VW Beetle Cabriolet to its former glory, patching up corroded bodywork, replacing the soft top with a waterproof roof and giving the interior an overhaul. Meanwhile, Amanda Stretton met a man who has owned a staggering 98 Beetles

Cobra

The team built a kit-car version of the AC Cobra, using a few parts taken from an old Ford Granada and a huge Chevrolet engine.

Aston Martin

Mark Evans and a team of mechanics restored a water-damaged 1974 Series 3 Aston Martin to its former glory, replacing the V8 engine, all the steel components and just about everything else besides

Ferrari

Mark Evans and a team of mechanics restored a 1981 Ferrari 308 to its former glory.

Photo was going to be the last clue! The second clue is:

Only 1 of the 56 is apparently RHD.
