I distinctly remember the advertising campaign highlighting this very change. :yesnod:Mr Forgetful wrote: Was it 1969 when the dyslexic one eyed Albanian (of Welsh descent) chrome grill fabricator was replaced by a trained “technician” and 18 grill uprights where put on both the right and left hand side of the central grill upright instead of 17 to the right and 18 to the left?

I got it, whilst you were posting this In October 1968 (1969 model year) the front wing was changed, which brought the indicators closer to the grill opening?

It is a very subtle difference and you will be surprised at how many B's I have seen with one of each wing on it
Your turn then Bryan

1) Lilac coloured MGB
2) Transportation
3) 1962 - a one eyed dyslexic Albanian (of Welsh descent) in longbridge
OR - I dunno but
Could it be one built for the London Motor Show at Earls Court in 1962 - given to Princess Margaret for Court Use and thus unregistered, built by - - well I'm back to my Albanian immigrant
