Bogey has been a bad boy.....
Yesterday night I noticed the boot open light dimly light and flickering a bit.
The car must know that he's going abroad so decided to throw a wobbly or maybe those new union jack badges have made him BNP and anti anything but the UK.
I asked Nat have you noticed any lights on the car while driving it yesterday?
Yes that boot open light but I just thought the boot will be open so I just carried on...
Just the kind of answer I'd expect from a SWMBO...
So checking all switches / bulbs etc I thought it must be the boot loom.
So getting up early before work armed with a variety of tools I set about..
A previous repair had been made.
So wielding a deadly pair of wire strippers and some chimp crimps I got cracking.
Tested and working OK Phew!
Then started go tidy the loom back up with black tape...
To then run out.... I left my 30 meter big roll at home.
So as a temp job its gone a bit  two tone black and green...
This is how MG did all the ultra rare xpower BRG ones...
So its working fine now I will undo the green and replace with black tonight.
Then its the final goodbye tomorrow.
I'm getting quite sad about it now....
The buyer has got a nice car.
