Yeah , it always surprised me that MGR just whacked a bigger setup on the front and expected it to work properly.Rough Luck;16142 wrote: They are amazing, you dont realise how bias you are to the from with 305mm's an AP calipers, you seem to have proper brakes if that makes sense and the car is a lot more level even when braking hard
Next I have a cuming plan to make 305mm rear vented disc apdation but that means new calipers so will cost a fortune
I don't want to say too much, but... there may be an interesting development on the MGF/TF brake issue coming up soon. Maybe after christmas.

I still think it could be a route to fit something like the front APs and keep the standard calipers for handbrake. It means you would have 2 calipers on each disk, but you should be able to source calipers cheaper.

So I've found a 4 pot rear caliper that would take a vented disc, and has a hand brake fixing the same as F / TF, and because it can take vented discs, I could go with 280mm vented elise ones or 305mm F ones depending on how the block is set up
One thing stopping me.........I'm skint again...lol

Tell me about it. If I didn't already have the money put aside for the Carbon Bonnet project I would have had to cancel it. I wanted to go ahead with the CF boot too, but just have no money. I think the economy is really starting to bite now.
